We do not sell or rent your personal information, or share it with third parties or affiliates for marketing, advertising, or joint marketing. We disclose information only as needed to process or service your requested loan, protect your account, or meet legal obligations, as explained below.

This Privacy Policy describes how USAloans, Inc., the operator of USAloans.com (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

We prioritize the confidentiality and security of your information. This policy applies throughout our organization, including our employees and other trade names.

Our Privacy Pledge

  • We do not sell or rent your personal information, or share it for marketing, advertising, or joint marketing.
  • Access to your information is limited to employees and service providers who need it to process or service your requested loan or respond to your requests.
  • Limited disclosures to lenders, loan-service providers, credit bureaus, and regulators may be necessary to process your application, service your loan, protect your account, or comply with law.
  • We do not provide your information to affiliates or non-affiliates for their own marketing or advertising.
  • Our policy requires all employees and companies providing services on our behalf to keep customer information safe and to comply with our company’s customer information security expectations.
  • Our privacy policy applies to potential customers as well as current and former customers.
  • You may have additional privacy protections under applicable state laws. We honor those protections when using or disclosing your information.
  • No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates.

Safeguarding Personal Information

We have adopted policies and procedures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized use or disclosure.

  • We have implemented physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to maintain confidentiality and integrity of the personal information in our possession and to guard against unauthorized access.
  • Our policy is to permit employees to access your personal information only if they have a business purpose for using such information, such as administering, providing, or developing our products or services.
  • Our policy, which governs the conduct of all our employees, requires employees to safeguard personal information about the consumers and customers we serve or have served in the past.

Information We Collect About You

We gather information to better serve your financial needs, provide quality products and services, and meet legal and regulatory requirements. We treat all information in our possession as personal, even if you are no longer a customer. The data we collect may include, among other things:

  • Identifying information, such as your name, age, address, phone number, and social security number.
  • Employment information.
  • Financial information such as your income, assets, and liabilities, as well as information about your savings, investments, insurance, and business.

Typically, we collect this information through various channels including applications and other forms you complete, conversations with our loan professionals and representatives, and in some cases, over our website. We may also collect information from a wide range of other sources to process and/or underwrite your loan. These sources may include employers, attorneys, banks, lenders, title insurers, insurance companies, credit reporting agencies, our Company’s mobile services, and online web applications.

Limited Disclosures for Your Loan and Legal Requirements

Our no-sale and no-marketing-sharing policy does not prevent the limited disclosures needed to process or service a loan you request, protect your account, or comply with legal obligations. We disclose information for these purposes only as needed and as permitted by law, including to:

  • Respond to court orders and legal investigations
  • Maintain your existing account or application
  • Process your transaction
  • Report to the credit bureaus
  • Service and/or sell your mortgage loan
  • Respond to our Company’s prudential state and federal regulator’s routine requests

Recipients may include lenders, title companies, appraisers, insurance companies, underwriting and processing services, loan servicers, credit bureaus, printing and software providers supporting your transaction, purchasers of your loan, and federal or state regulators. These disclosures support your loan or legal requirements; they do not authorize the use of your information for third-party marketing or advertising. We adhere to applicable state laws governing these disclosures.

Affiliates and Service Providers

We do not share your personal information with affiliates for marketing, advertising, or joint marketing. An affiliated service provider may receive information only as needed to process or service your requested loan, respond to your requests, protect your account, or meet legal obligations.

Information needed for these limited purposes may include your name, contact information, property information, and transaction details such as the estimated closing date, loan status, and loan amount. Our affiliates and third-party service providers are bound by confidentiality agreements that restrict use to the authorized service or legal purpose and prohibit use for their own marketing.

You may want to make a copy of any document for your records when requested to share your information.

Non-Affiliated Service Providers

We do not sell or rent your personal information or share it with non-affiliated companies for marketing, advertising, or joint marketing. Non-affiliated lenders and service providers may receive information only for the limited loan-service, account-protection, and legal purposes described above.

Information disclosed for those purposes may include your name, contact information, property information, and transaction details. We do not disclose your account number to any non-affiliated third party for marketing purposes.

Our policy requires disclosures to non-affiliated service providers to be limited as follows:

  • The disclosure must support your requested loan or service, account protection, or a legal obligation.
  • Information disclosed must be limited to what is needed for that purpose.
  • Service providers must protect the information and use it only for the authorized purpose or as required by law.
  • Your information must not be used for the recipient’s own marketing, advertising, or joint marketing.

You may want to make a copy of any document for your records when requested to share your information.

Our Marketing and Your Choices

We aim to keep you informed about our new and existing products. To achieve this, we engage in direct marketing through various channels, including direct mailers and email.

We do not share your personal information with other companies for marketing, advertising, or joint marketing. You can ask us to stop our own marketing communications by calling 888-505-0077 or using the opt-out instructions in a communication. Our SMS program is limited to the non-marketing messages described below.

SMS Communications

SMS Communications and Terms

We send SMS messages only to consumers who opt in. Messages concern application updates, document requests, and customer service. This program does not send marketing or promotional messages.

When you opt in, we collect your mobile phone number, consent preferences, and messaging records to send these communications, respond to requests, and manage opt-ins and opt-outs.

No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates. Our no-sale and no-marketing-sharing policy also applies to information collected through the SMS program.

SMS Consent, and phone numbers collected for SMS communication purposes will not be shared with any third party or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Message frequency varies based on your application and customer-service needs. Message and data rates may apply. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of submitting an application or purchasing goods or services.

Reply STOP to any text to opt out. You may receive one final confirmation of your opt-out; no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again. We also honor other clear requests to stop messages. Reply HELP for assistance or call 888-505-0077.

See our SMS Terms and Conditions and SMS Privacy Policy.

Cookies

We may employ cookies on our websites and collaborate with third-party vendors who also use cookies. These vendors are contractually bound to safeguard any data they collect on our behalf. If you wish to prevent information from being stored without your knowledge or consent, you can adjust your cookie settings on your computer.

Your Privacy Choices and Questions

You do not need to opt out to prevent the sale or rental of your personal information or its disclosure for marketing, advertising, or joint marketing: we do not engage in those practices.

We do not begin marketing-related sharing after 30 days or because you have not opted out. If you are no longer our customer, the same no-sale and no-marketing-sharing policy continues to apply. Limited disclosures needed to service your loan, protect your account, or satisfy legal obligations may continue as described above.

To ask a privacy question, exercise an applicable privacy right, or limit our own marketing communications, call 888-505-0077 or email Hello@USAloans.com. We honor privacy requests as required by applicable law.
